Artist Spotlight | Henry Dubreuil
HENRY DUBREUIL was born in Port-au-Prince, December 6, 1948. After studying at Lycee Petion, he began to paint at the age 17. Having begun his training with the Centre D'Art, he left to join the Foyer Des Arts Plastiques in 1965; where he studied with Haitian Masters Exhume and Jolicoeur. Foyer Des Arts Plastiques was formed by those supplicated artists who were dissatisfied with the way issues facing Haitian artists were addressed. Dubreuil has had many art exhibitions, both locally and abroad.
