Jean-Dany Augustin Klay was born on November 1983 in Leogane, 18 miles West of the Haitian capital of Port-Au-Prince. Jean-Dany Augustin Klay is a young emerging artist. He began painting at the early age of seven years of old. He paints historical theme, stating: "I want to let the world know about our history..." He his inspired by his father, Desius Augustin, who is now blind and a former painter. He has participated in various artshows in Haiti.
